Peace and Plenty Farm in SF Chronicle
Check out this wonderful article in the SF Chronicle about our farm!
“The first day there is one flower and then you do a little dance because you’re so excited. The next day they’ll be 26 flowers. A few days later there’ll be 2,600,” says Price, who says the 2018 harvest lasted five weeks between October and November, with a record day of 8,400 flowers (estimated by weight). The final yield was 320 grams of dried saffron."
