One of the most unique spices in the world, saffron imparts a hard-to-describe flavor, aroma and gorgeous golden color.
Our saffron is hand-planted, harvested, processed and packaged here on our farm in Northern California by farmers Melinda and Simon.

Fresh saffron matures and intensifies as it dries. It has matured and is ready for use after 3 months of storage.
Our saffron was picked in October and November, so it will be ready to use by the end of January, or February.
Once mature, saffron remains potent indefinitely, especially when stored in our special light-blocking jars in a cool cupboard. No need to refrigerate.
